LINE WORK

Let the paint guide the way...that was my intention.  Slightly masculine in feel, this series is the result of my exploration of line and form using a limited palette.  Shades of blue, olive greens and creamy whites are the stars of these paintings supported by warm and cool neutrals with hints of red and yellow ochre.

Each of these small mixed media paintings on cradled wood panels measures approximately 30 x 30 x 4 cm (12” x 12” x 1 5/8”), is UV varnished in a satin finish and is ready to hang directly on your wall.  The edges or cradles of the panel are painted and varnished to complement the colours of the painting so they can be hung on the wall just as they are for a contemporary look or you could choose to frame them in a style to suit your décor.
