WESTERLY PREVAILING
Full of bold moves and gestural marks this series began with the desire to bring more looseness into my work. Reminiscent of wind or water, these paintings are full of fluid motion and exuberance. The energy of these paintings is tempered by passages of calm and quiet which serve as places to rest.
Each of these small mixed media paintings on cradled wood panels measures approximately 30 x 30 x 4 cm (12” x 12” x 1 5/8”), is UV varnished in a satin finish and is ready to hang directly on your wall. The sides of each of the panels is painted in a deep blue which complements the colours of the painting. Hang them on the wall just as they are for a contemporary look or frame them in a style to suit your décor.
