Do you have a favourite colour?
When we were children declaring a favourite colour was a serious point of schoolyard conversation. While the other little girls were happy to claim pink or purple as their favourites, those colours were not for me. I would have yellow: Bright and saturated, sunny, warm and cheerful yellow.
The paintings of this collection were born of a desire to embrace the happiest of colours in my work and to see where she and I could go together.
