Original artwork by ANN ROTH
While I didn’t intend to make a landscape painting when I began Payne’s Grey Day, that is what I see in the finished work. With its palette of blues, olive green, white and splashes of yellow ochre, this painting has the feel of an abstract vista of melting snow and thawing earth with the promise of spring to come.
The edges of the panel are painted in a dark blue to harmonize with the colours in the painting. It would work well in any room that has a grey, blue or white colour scheme.

Signed on the front
UV varnished, satin finish and ready to hang
