In Broken Line, I was exploring the division of space and experimenting with hard and soft edge transitions between adjacent areas of colour.
It’s rendered in a limited palette of shades of blue and creamy whites. The edges of the panel are painted in a deep blue that complements the colours of the painting. This abstract work has a decidedly masculine feel and would look great hung on a wall or perched on a shelf in a study or office space.
