In the stillness of a misty morning morning, it feels as if I could reach out and touch the softness of the air, but it's only an illusion of water and light.
In a palette of mostly blues and greys, light peachy pink and bright green offer a pleasing hit of contrast colour in this abstract painting.
The collage papers used in this work were hand made using monoprinting techniques. These papers, layered with paint, create a rich surface design. The deep sides of the panel are coloured in a light blue grey that complements the composition of the painting. While the painting is ready to hang as it is, it could also be framed by you to in a design to match your decor.
