With her golden halo of blooms the old forsythia glowed in the overgrown tangle of the back garden. This is how I remember the earliest days of springtime.
This warm abstract painting is rendered in a variety of yellows complemented by quieter areas of deep dark blues. The sides of the canvas have been painted a light neutral grey and the painting has been wired and is ready to hang.
