The abstract design of this little gem of a painting won’t appeal to everyone, but it is a favourite of mine. Thin repeating lines of warm neutrals, contrast with the sea of pale blue that occupies most of the rest of the composition. It’s icey and warm in equal measure. In contrast the edges of the painting are stained a deep orange red.
